CrossFit is a strength and conditioning methodology which is described as ‘Constantly varied, functional movements executed at high intensity’ with the goal of improving fitness measured by ‘work capacity across broad time and modal domains’.
These classes follow specific programming incorporating all types of fitness types so you can be sure no two workouts are ever the same. These are the classes where we give everything a go! We incorporate gymnastics and olympic lifting into these classes to assist in building the components of physical fitness: cardiorespiratory fitness, stamina, muscular strength and endurance, flexibility, power, speed, agility, balance, coordination, and accuracy.
Everything we do in sessions is tracked as we believe in the saying ‘what gets measured gets improved’. We regularly test and re-test CrossFit Benchmarks so that we can see improvements when they happen, this is to focus more about how our bodies move rather than aesthetics.
